AGBU Cairo: gala dinner in HMEM Nubar Cairo on the occasion of the Union’s 70th anniversary.

Saturday 13 March
AGBU’s 70th anniversary first celebration at HMEM Nubar Cairo club under the auspices of Egypt’s Armenian prelates, presided by Mr and Mrs Paul Kilidjian. Cultural program. Certificates for veteran members.

Monday 26 April
HMEM Nubar Cairo: Sham el Nessim celebration with traditional oriental breakfast and lunch. Various games. Kermesse under covered tent. Entrance: 25 P.T

Friday 2 July
AGBU’s 70th anniversary second celebration at AGBU Alexandria: Day of the Founders, lecturer Mr Onnig Kalousdian (Principal of Boghosian School).

Friday 23 to Saturday 25 July
HMEM Nubar Alexandria: Armenian inter-clubs basketball tournament on the occasion of the 24th anniversary the Revolution and the 70th anniversary of AGBU under the auspices of Mr. and Mrs. Vahan Alexanian.
23 July: Ararat – Near East 49-44, Gamk – St. Therese 58-52
24 July: Ararat – HMEM Nubar Alex 44-42,
25: July: Final HMEM Nubar Cairo – Gamk 61-48. HMEM Nubar Cairo champion

HMEM Nubar Alexandria: Annual Campfire of the scouts’ and guides’ movement under the auspices of Mr. and Mrs L. Yeghoushian (Chairman of HMEM Nubar Alexandria)

At HMEM Nubar Heliopolis club: reception for the young members of AGBU on the occasion of its 70th anniversary.

Friday 1 to Sunday 3 October
HMEM Nubar Cairo: Armenian inter-clubs basketball competition on the occasion of the 6th of October Victory under the auspices of Mr and Mrs Paul Kilidjian. The medals are offered by Mr Vart Alexanian.
Participating teams: Gamk, Near East, HMEM Ararat, HMEM Nubar Alexandria. Ste Therese and HMEM Nubar Cairo.
Final: HMEM Nubar Cairo / Gamk 82/47.

AGBU Cairo: Trip to the Barrages organised by the Youth Committee.

AGBU Cairo: Rally-paper organized by the youth committee. Gathering in HMEM Nubar Cairo club.

Thursday 2 to Saturday 4 December
Armenian inter-clubs basketball tournament organised by Ste Therese club. HMEM Nubar Cairo wins for the 31st time the cup offered by Mr and Mrs Vahé Mavian, after defeating HMEM Ararat in the final 69/65.

Friday 31 December
HMEM Nubar Cairo: New Year’s Celebration with open buffet and dancing with the High Waves band. Participation fee: 500 PT.
