The year’s highlights
– Last concert in May and cessation of the activities of AGBU Cairo’s Groung choir after 9 years (formed in 1983).
– 25 orphans from the Armenian earthquake are hosted by AGBU Cairo camping at the HMEM Nubar Cairo and Alex clubs for two weeks.

AGBU Cairo: Groung choir led by Hayg Sarkissian performs at the Belkdanian hall with few patriotic songs on the occasion of the commemoration of April 24th.

AGBU Cairo: Groung choir led by Hayg Sarkissian performs its last recital at the Belkdanian hall followed by a farewell reception for the choir members at the Goganian club on the occasion of the cessation of the activities of the choir because of the emigration of Maestro Hayg Sarkissian to France

AGBU Cairo receives 25 orphans of the Armenian earthquake and 4 officials from Armenia. The group camps at the HMEM Nubar Cairo club during its stay. From 24 to 27 August the group camps at the Alexandria HMEM Nubar club.
