During their rehearsal on Christmas Eve, the children of AGBU Cairo’s Dziadzan Choir were in for a surprise.
Not to break his annual tradition of visiting the choir, Santa attended the rehearsal virtually from the North Pole…
He had left their Christmas presents with Maestro Mihran Ghazelian and Mrs. Kohar Ghazelian. He explained that he couldn’t be there in person due to COVID-19 travel restrictions. However, he was able to send his presents with his special assistant Mrs. Roubina Aslanian.
The children performed several songs and Christmas carols for Santa who enjoyed it very much. He complemented the kids for their exceptional performance and promised to give out the presents in person next year.
AGBU board copeted members Mrs. Roubina Aslanian and Dr. Arpi Khatcherian helped organize this event.
It is to be noted that the Dziadan choir children are having their rehearsals on divided groups in order to respect social distancing during the Covid-19 pandemic.
