Շաբաթ, 2 Ապրիլ, 2022-ի երեկոյեան եգիպտահայ գաղութը, մանաւանդ հայ կաթողիկէ համայնքը մեծ հպարտութիւն եւ ուրախութիւն ապրեցաւ, տեսնելով իր Առաջնորդին պարգեւատրումը Մալթայի Մեծ Խաչի Ասպետի շքանշանով:
Քրիստոնեայ քոյր համայնքներու կրօնական պետերը եւ հրաւիրեալ դեսպանները, առաջնորդութեամբ Արհիապատիւ Տ. Գրիգոր Օգոստինոս Եպս. Գուսանի, Վիճակաւոր Եգիպտոսի Հայ Կաթողիկէ Համայնքին եւ ընկերակցութեամբ սկաուտական փողերախումբին մուտք գործեցին եկեղեցւոյ բակէն ներս, ուր գեղեցկօրէն յարդարուած փոքր սեղաններու շուրջ հրաւիրեալները կը սպասէին Վիճակաւոր Գերապայծառին:
Խօսք առաւ նախ Մալթայի դեսպան տիար Մարիօ Գարութէնութօ, որ վեր առաւ Վիճակաւոր Գերապայծառ Հօր կատարած աշխատանքը, ապա Մալթայի Մեծ Խաչի Ասպետի շքանշանը անցուց Գերապայծառի լանջին:
Շնորհակալական ուղերձով հանդէս եկաւ Արհիապատիւ Տ. Գրիգոր Օգոստինոս Եպս. Գուսան, մէկ առ մէկ խօսքը ուղղելով ներկայ բարձրաստիճան կղերին, առաքինազարդ քոյրերուն եւ ներկաներուն:
Պաշտօնական արարողութենէն ետք ներկաները լուսանկարուեցան մեծարեալ Առաջնորդին հետ եւ վայելեցին շքեղ հիւրասիրութիւնը, եկեղեցւոյ բակին մէջ:
On Saturday, April 2, 2022, the Armenian Catholic community and the Egyptian-Armenian presence felt great pride and joy for the awarding of the Grand Cross “Pro Piis Meritis” pro Merito Militendi to H.E. Msgr. Krikor Okostinos Coussan, Bishop of Alexandria of the Catholic Armenians.
Religious leaders of Egyptan Christian institutions and the invited ambassadors, led by Bishop Coussan, accompanied by the scouts, entered the churchyard, where guests welcomed the Monseingneur around the beautifully decorated tables.
The Ambassador of the sovereig order of Malta, H.E. Mr. Mario Carotenuto took the floor and presented Bishop Coussan praising his work and deeds. He then awarded the Grand Cross “Pro Piis Meritis” to H.E. Msgr. Coussan.
A message of gratitude was delivered by Bishop Monseigneur Coussan, expressing his appreciation to the present high-ranking clerics, the virtuous sisters, and all those present.
After the official ceremony, guests and friends present were photographed with Monseigneur Coussan and enjoyed the lavish reception in the churchyard.
