Josheph Egoyan was born in Cairo, on November 10,1933. Being a talented boy, he was guided in art, during 1946-1947, by Carlo Minotti, who is an unknown personality for us. From 1948 to 1952, he studied art in the studio of Ashod Zorian (1905-1970), who taught art to many disciples in his famous studio operated in Cairo from 1941 to January 1969. During 14-24 January 1950, still a 16-year-old teenager, encouraged by his teacher Zorian, he exhibited 60 of his drawings and watercolors at Dikran Antranikian’s gallery A.D.A.M.
