JOHN PAPASIAN: 1914-1984

Born in Alexandria. Traveled frequently to Europe (Paris, London and Rome) studying an and later exhibiting his works. His style is a synthesis of Expressionism and Semi-abstract art. His works are designed on elliptical and spiral movements revolving around a central point. In Egypt he was involved in the decoration of several theatrical and cinematographic works.
