Dr. George Simonian, the long time AGBU Cairo board member, and member of Cairo’s Armenian community council’s Executive committee, has been assigned to yet another important post as: Dean of the Faculty of Design & Creative Arts of Al-Ahram Canadian University of Cairo.
Dr. George Simonian, who is one of our Egyptian Armenian community’s most venerated and esteemed personalities, was also the former acting dean of Helwan University’s Faculty of Applied Arts.
In addition to this highly regarded honorary post, Dr. George occupies many important positions: He is the head of the Egyptian Digital Printing Committee, he is also a board member at “Al Amiria” the Egyptian Government’s Printing Press, board member of the Egyptian Printing & Packaging Chamber, board member at the Egyptian Stamps Committee and a board member at the Egyptian higher Council of Art universities.
We congratulate Dr. George Simonian for this new appointment and wish him all possible success and even more future accomplishments.
