Չորեքշաբթի 8 Մայիս 2019-ին, Գահիրէ ՀԲԸՄ-ը գումարեց իր տարեկան ընդհանուր ժողովը, Հելիոպոլսոյ Չագըր Մշակութային Կեդրոնին մէջ, ներկայացընելու եւ վաւերացնելու համար 2018 թուականի իր բարոյական եւ նիւթական գործունէութեանց տեղեկագիրը, ինչպէս նաեւ ընդհանուր ժողովին հաւանութիւնը առնելու՝ 2019-ի նախահաշիւ պիւտճէին համար:
Ժողովին բացումը կատարեց Գահիրէի ՀԲԸՄ-ի ատենապետ՝ Տոքթ, Վիգէն Ճիզմէճեան որ ներկաներուն բարի գալուստ մաղթելէ յետոյ, շնորհակալութիւն յայտնեց իրենց հաւատարմութեան համար: Ապա Գահիրէի ՀԲԸՄ-ի ատենադպիր՝ Տիար Մարտիրոս Պալայեան կարդաց նախորդ ընդհանուր ժողովի ատենագրութիւնը եւ Գահիրէի ՀԲԸՄ-ի գործունէութեանց տեղեկագիրը:
Սոյն ներկայացումով Գահիրէի ՀԲԸՄ-ը կը յայտարարէ թէ 2018-ին Գահիրէի ՀԲԸՄ-ի Չագըր հիմնադրամը, իր ծրագիրներուն իրագործման համար ծախսած է 2 Միլիոն 102549 Ե,Ո,, որոնցմէ յիշենք գլխաւորները:
638,296 Ե.Ո. ծախսուած է մշակութային ծրագրերու համար (ինչպէս «Արեգ» արաբերէն պարբերականին, «Տեղեկատու» պաշտօնութերթին, գիրքերու հրատարակման, Եգիպտոսի ՀԲԸՄ-ի կայքէջին, «Ծիածան» մանկական երգչախումբին, հրաւիրուած բանախօսներու, ձեռնարկներու եւ ֆիլմերու ցուցադրութեանց Չագըր մշակութային կեդրոնէն ներս): Այս գումարը կը պարփակէ նաեւ կարեւոր ծրագրերու պատուագիները եւ թոշակները, ինչպէս «Հայաստան եւ հայերը եգիպտական մամուլին մէջ» հրատարակչական ծաւալուն ծրագիրը, այլ հրատարակութեանց եւ յօդուածներու գրութեանց ծախքերը եւ վերջապէս մասնաւոր յատկացումներ այն մասնագէտներուն որոնք ի նպաստ հայութեան ուսումնասիրութիւններ կը կատարեն եւ որոնք այժմ հինգ հոգի են ներառեալ Դոկտ. Մոհամէտ Ռիֆաթ Էլ Իմամը:
2018-ին 538.432 Ե.Ո. ծախսուած է 68 կարօտեալ անհատներու ընկերային օժանդակութեան եւ դարմանումի համար: 220724 Ե.Ո. ծախսուած է 27 ուսանողներու որպէս կրթական օժանդակութիւն: 16,000 Ե.Ո.հանգստեան կոչուած հայերէնի ուսուցիչներուն, եւ 439731 Ե.Ո. բժշկական խնամքի ( Medicare ) ծրագրին որմէ կ՛օգտուին 298 հայրենակիցներ:
Ապա Գահիրէի ՀԲԸՄ-ի գանձնապետ Տիար Գէորգ Աւանեան մանրամասնօրէն ներկայացուց 2018-ի ելեւմուտքի հաշուեցոյցը ինչպէս նաեւ 2019-ի նախահաշիւ պիւտճէն որ վաւերացուեցաւ ընդհանուր ժողովին կողմէ:
Ժողովի աւարտին տեղի ունեցաւ քոքթէյլի պատշաճ հիւրասիրութիւն:
AGBU Cairo held its annual General Assembly at its Chaker Cultural Center in Heliopolis on Wednesday 8th May 2019 to present and approve its 2018 expenditures and activities reports and to obtain the General Assembly’s consent for the planned budget of 2019.
After welcoming the presence and thanking them for their loyalty, the chairman of AGBU Cairo, Dr. Viken Djizmedjian opened the meeting which started with the lecture of the previous General Assembly’s minutes and AGBU Cairo board’s 2018 activities’ report in Armenian which was presented by Mr. Mardiros Balayan, the board’s general secretary.
Through this presentation AGBU Cairo announced that in 2018, AGBU Cairo’s Chaker fund has spent 2M 102 549 LE on the fund’s projects among which the following main expenditures can be mentioned:
638 296 LE were spent on cultural projects (such as: Arek Arabic & Deghegadou newsletters, Dziadzan children’s choir, published books, invited speakers, events and film projections at the Chaker Cultural Center, AGBU Egypt website,, etc..). This amount includes also the salaries of such important projects as “Armenia and Armenians in the Egyptian press, editing and article writing fees for Deghegadou and Arek Arabic newsletters, researching fees for specialists and Armenian related studies and researches who are now five in number including Dr. Mohamed Refaat Al Imam .
538 432 LE were spent in 2018 for social support (pension and medical aid) to 68 beneficiaries in need of such aid, 220 724 LE were spent on educational support to 27 students and their tutorial fees, 16000 LE for retired Armenian teachers and 439 731 LE were spent on the Medicare project’s 298 beneficiaries.
The 2018 expenditures account was then presented by AGBU Cairo’s Treasurer Mr. Kevork Avanian who also presented the 2019 planned budget in detail.
The General Assembly was followed by a cocktail reception.
