Rose Papasian (1935-1987)

Rose Papasian was born in Alexandria, on the 30th of January 1935. Her maiden full name was Rose Hagop Shahbenderian. On the 2nd of November 1952 she got married in Cairo to Eugene Papasian, Junior. Since then she lived in Cairo till September 1964, when she moved with her two daughters Christine and Sima to Geneva in Switzerland, to join her husband who was already there since 1962. Being inclined towards art, from early 1953 and for several years she studied under the guidance of Ashod Zorian, who was operating a private studio. Her 1st success occurred in March 1956,
