Hampar Hampartsoumian (1908-1982)

Hampar Hampartsoumian was born in Alexandria on the 18th of September 1908. Here, we must mention that in all previous references it is recorded wrongly that his birth occurred in 1911. His mother’s name was Taqouhy and his father was Hagop, an employee for the Postal Department of Alexandria. He was born and deceased in that city (1870-1945). Hampartsoumian family comprised 4 children; Hampar, Lucy, Bedros (who also became an employee for the Postal Department) and Araxy.
