Չորեքաբթի, 24 Ապրիլ 2019-ի երեկոյեան Պըլըքտանեան սրահէն ներս դասախօսական ելոյթ մը ունեցաւ Վենետիկէն հրաւիրուած Աւետիս Հաճեան, հեղինակը «Թաքուն Ազգ մը. հայերը Թուրքիոյ տարածքին» անգլերէն ծաւալուն հատորին:
Այս ձեռնարկը արդիւնքն էր միացեալ ճիգերուն ՀԲԸՄիութեան եւ ԱՄՆի Մէսէչուսէց նահանգի NAASR հիմնարկին, որ վաթսուն տարիներէ ի վեր կը գործէ եւ կը քաջալերէ հայ եւ ոչ հայ մտաւորականներ, աշխարհին ներկայացնելու հայ դատը:
Աւետիս Հաճեան ծնած է Հալէպ, մտաւորական ընտանիքի մը մէջ. հայրը եղած է Հալէպի Քարէն Եփփէ Ազգային Ճեմարանի տնօրէն, իսկ մայրը, նոյն ճեմարանին մէջ հայոց լեզուի ուսուցչուհի:
Յարգելի դասախօսը շատ անմիջական ոճով խօսեցաւ Թուրքիոյ մէջ իր երկու տարուան կեցութեան մասին եւ լուսանկարներու շարքով մը մանրամասնութիւններ տուաւ թաքուն հայերու մասին, Սասունի, Մուշի, Էրզրում-Կարինի, Խարբերդի, Տէրսիմի Եւ կիլիկիոյ տարածքին:
Հետաքրքրական էր պատանեկան յուշը դասախօսին, երբ 14 տարեկանին, լսելով թաքուն հայերու մասին, որոշեր է՝ «Ասոնց մասին օր մը գիրք մը պիտի գրեմ
Փոքր տարիքէն Ա. Հաճեան ծնողքին հետ փոխադրուած է Արժանթին եւ հոն կատարելագործած իր ուսումը լրագրութեան մէջ, տիրանալով մագիստրոսի աստիճանին:
Շատ հետաքրքրական դրուագներ կային իր խօսքին մէջ, որոնցմէ ամենէն յուզիչը թերեւս երկու թաքուն հայերու՝ Պայծառի եւ Սարգիսի մասին էր. Պայծառի երազը եղած է հայկական ծէսով պսակուիլ, երազ մը, որ իր մահէն միայն մէկ տարի առաջ իրականացեր է, երբ առիթ ունեցեր է իր կէսդարեայ ամուսնութիւնը վերանորոգել հայկական եկեղեցական ծէսով, որմէ տարի մը ետք, արդէն խոր ծերութեան մէջ կնքեր է իր մահկանացուն:
Դասախօսութեան աւարտին ներկաները հարցեր տուին, որոնց մանրամասնօրէն պատասխանեց յարգելի դասախօսը:
On Wednesday 24 April 2019, at the Belekdanian hall in Heliopolis, a lecture was given by Avedis Hadjian, the author of “Secret Nation, the hidden Armenians of Turkey”, who was invited from Venice.
This lecture was held thanks to the mutual cooperation between AGBU Cairo and NAASR (The National Association of Armenian Studies and Researches) which is based in Massachusetts. NAASR is an Association which encourages and sponsors Armenian and non Armenian intellectuals to research Armenia related topics and present them to the public.
Avedis Hadjian was born in Aleppo in an intellectual family, his father was the principle of the Karen Eppe school, his mother was an Armenian language teacher in the same school.
The lecturer talked about his two year journey in Turkey and gave details, through a slide show, on many situations of hidden Armenians in Sassoun, Moush, Erzroum, Garin, Kharpert, Dersim ang Giligia.
From a very young age, Avedis went to Argentina with his family, obtaining his Masters degree in journalism.
It was a childhood dream of his when he decided at the age of 14 to write a book about the hidden Armenians.
There were many interesting sections in Mr. Hadjian’s lecture, one of which was the sad story of Baydzar and Sarkis. Baydzar’s dream was to get married by Armenian rituals. A dream that came through just a year before her death when she was able to renew her 50 old marriage through Armenian marriage rituals, just a year after which she passed away.
After the lecture the presence asked some questions to which Mr. Hadjian gave detailed answers.
