Եգիպտահայ թեմը 2 Մայիս 2019-ի երեկոյեան մեծ հպարտութեամբ տօնեց իր մայր եկեղեցւոյ՝ Ս. Գրիգոր Լուսաւորիչի օծման 90-ամեակը, աննախընթաց ցուցահանդէսով մը, որ տեղի ունեցաւ Պըլըքտանեան սրահէն ներս եւ ուր ներկայացուած էին եկեղեցւոյ թանկարժէք սպասքը ինչպէս՝ սեղանի եւ ձեռքի խաչեր, մոմակալներ, խնկամաններ, Աւետարաններ անցնող երկու դարերէն, պատարագի խոյրեր, բազպաններ եւ այլ իրեր:
Ցուցահանդէսի բացումէն առաջ ներկայացուեցաւ կարճ տեսերիզ մը, եկեղեցւոյ շինութեան եւ անոր նշանաւոր այցելուներուն մասին: Տեսերիզը պատրաստած էր պատանի Մանուէլ Գէորգեանը:
Հայր Դերենիկ աբեղան համապարփակ բայց եւ հակիրճ իր խօսքով ներկայացուց եկեղեցւոյ պատմականը եւ անոր տեղն ու դերը եգիպտահայոց կեանքին մէջ, որմէ ետք Գերշ. Տ. Աշոտ Եպս. Մնացականեան, բարեջան առաջնորդ Եգիպտոսի հայոց թեմին պաշտօնական բացումը կատարեց ցուցահանդէսին:
Նոյն ցուցահանդէսին ներկայացուած էին Ռիթա Գէորգեանի վրձինով կատարուած Ս. Գրիգոր Լուսաւորիչ եկեղեցւոյ եւ կարգ մը սուրբերու նկարները:
Ներկայ էին մեծ թիւով լրատուական գործակալութիւններու ներկայացուցիչներ, պատկառելի Թեմական եւ Քաղաքական Ժողովներու եւ այլ միութիւններու ատենապետները եւ մեծ թիւով ակնդիրներ:
Ներկաները մեծապէս գնահատեցին ցուցահանդէսը, որ յաջորդ օրը եւս բաց պիտի մնար այցելուներուն համար:
The Egyptian Armenian diocese celebrated on 2nd May 2019; at the Belekdanian Hall in Heliopolis, its St. Gregory the Illuminator church’s 90th anniversary with an exceptional exhibition in which some of the church’s precious objects were put on display, such as chandeliers, censers, bibles from the past two centuries, crowns, hoods and many other different objects.
Before the start of the exhibition, a short video was displayed about the church’s construction and its visitors. The video was prepared by the young Manuel Kevorkian.
Rev. Terenig Sahakyan in a complete but brief way presented the church’s history and its role in the life of Egyptian Armenians. Soon after, His Grace Ashod Mnatsaganian, the Primite of the Armenian Apostolic church of Egypt, made the official opening of the exhibition.
In this exhibition, the works of the young painter Rita Kevorkian were also displayed portraying the St. Gregory the Illuminator church and depicting some of its saints.
Present in this exhibition also were many media representatives, community leaders, members and observers who all praised the works on display.
The exhibition was to be remained open on the following day as well.
